Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill approached our studio with their ideas for shooting five commercials in stop-motion style.

Having an idea, writing a script for stop-motion commercials doesn’t take that much time. It requires spending time on brainstorming and rewriting.
Making the storyboard of the videos, we relied on the already planned props. In fact, before filming, the client could already see the color scheme of the frame and get a holistic perception of each future scene.
We held castings and submitted for approval male, female and children’s hands, as well as a cat that was misbehaving on the table. By the way: Saffione napkins perfectly cope with their task — it quickly absorbs liquid from the tablecloth.
We built the locations directly in our studio. The table and tablecloth were selected and approved according to the script and references. They also bought all the necessary props and products.
Before concluding a contract, we draw up a work schedule and approve it with the client. This is a mandatory procedure that allows the client to control the process without worrying about deadlines.
In general, the full production cycle of five stop-motion videos, from the conclusion of the contract to the signing of the acts of work performed, took 37 calendar days (or 27 working days).
